Summary

We keep getting closer, and closer, and closer to the start of hockey season. As things crawl nearer, little drops of information keep getting released. First it was the opening night game. Then it was the entire schedule. Now, the Tampa Bay Lightning have released their promotional schedule. All of the theme and giveaway nights are now up on the schedule, so go book your seats accordingly! Starting off we have their theme nights, mostly centered around holidays. Like a few other teams, the Bolts had advertised a “Fourth Wing Night” which included some special ticket packages, but that does not appear on their official list. October 3 – Opening night (Washington Capitals) October 29 – Halloween (Winnipeg Jets) November 25 – Thanksgiving (Carolina Hurricanes) December 17 and 22nd – Holiday Games (Calgary Flames, St. Louis Blues) December 31 – New Years Eve (Montreal Canadiens) January 2 – Bolts and Boots (Buffalo Sabres) January 16 – Kids Day (Ottawa Senators) January 30 – Gasparilla (New York Islanders) March 11 – Margaritaville (New Jersey Devils) April 10 – Fan Appreciation (Boston Bruins) There are also the usual Hockey is for Everyone nights that will feature merchandise designed by local artists. October 15 – Noche Latina (Seattle Kraken) November 5 – Military Appreciation (Chicago Blackhawks) November 22 – Hockey Fights Cancer (Buffalo Sabres) January 14 – Pride (Vegas Golden Knights) January 26 – Hockey Talks (Los Angeles Kings) February 28 – Black Heritage (Utah Mammoth) March 25 – First Responders (Philadelphia Flyers) March 30 – Women in Sports (Toronto Maple Leafs) Finally, the nights everyone is locking forward to – the Stadium Giveaway nights. Unlike some other organizations, the Lightning haven’t released any images of either the bobbleheads or the “pocket art”. So your guess is as good as ours as to what they are. October 3 – Schedule Magnets (Washington Capitals) October 29 – Victor Hedman Pocket Art (Winnipeg Jets) November 19 – Player Keychains (Edmonton Oilers) November 25 – Bug Keeper Hats (Carolina Hurricanes) December 7 – Nikita Kucherov Pocket Art (Columbus Blue Jackets) February 18 – Jake Guentzel Bobblehead (Anaheim Ducks) March 23 – Brandon Hagel Bobblehead (Florida Panthers) March 27 – T-Shirt April 1 – Andrei Vasilevskiy Pocket Art (Columbus Blue Jackets) It is worth noting that the Pocket Art and Bobbleheads are noted as being available for the first 10,000 fans. So make sure you arrive early on those nights! We know that the Lightning will be releasing information on their Hometown Remix jerseys at some point. There is a good chance that we will see them wear them on select Saturday night home games (assuming they wear them more than once).
