Episode Description
Summary
I don’t know where to start. Even though this move is a fresh start for the team it’s still going to sting for a long time. Always thought Gio was going to spend his whole career as a Flame and would drive off into the sunset having played with one team only. But that’s not the case anymore. Ever since I’ve started watching hockey this guy has dawned the Flaming C proudly. Gio became a huge part of my childhood after Iggy got shipped out. Becoming an instant favourite, as he went on the road to become the 2nd longest reigning Captain in franchise history. From all the countless memories, snipes, cheesy celebrations etc. He’ll deeply be missed by the Calgary community. Take care of him @seattlekraken. You guys got a good one. #Flames #CofRed #ThankYouGio
