Summary
Host Gavin Spittle and David Castillo from Stars Stack give their opinions on Sam Steel signing a four-year contract extension with the Dallas Stars worth $3.7 million per year. The guys note that Sam Steel and Radek Faksa will account for $5.7 million against the cap next year, which could increase to $6.7 million if Oscar Back is re-signed. They also discuss the roster direction, noting upcoming free agents for next year including Jason Robertson, Tyler Seguin, and Matt Duchene. They argue the team needs to make bold changes rather than continually running back the same roster.
