Jake Allen is Emily Haydel’s first guest on Emily in Jersey, a new Devils podcast about the players’ lives away from the rink.
Recorded ahead of his 500th NHL game, the conversation covers the relationships that have shaped Jake’s career, raising three daughters and seeing hockey through their eyes. He also shares the story behind Program 34, his wife Shannon’s work with Operation Shower and why stepping onto the Hockey Night in Canada set was the most nervous he’s ever been.
