Minnesota’s offense was fueled by eight different goal scorers including Susanna Tapani as part of a three-point performance. Sophia Kunin, Abby Boreen, and Maggie Flaherty all produced a goal and an assist, with Flaherty tallying the overtime marker. Ottawa opened the scoring on a first period point-shot by Jincy Roese and led 3-1 in the second period with goals from Natalie Snodgrass and Mikyla Grant-Mentis.
